A little Cold here in the UK this summer!

We’ve been here for a month now and while we love where we are, I can’t say we’re all that impressed with the ‘English Summer’!

People joke all the time about the rain here, but based on our experience this summer it really is true! We’ve been to many of the big attractions though – most of them being good whatever the weather.

In London, a visit to The Houses of Parliament and a ride on the London Eye are things that just have to be done, and although the view wasn’t too amazing from the top due to the weather, we’ll definitely be going back on a clearer day to take in the whole of London.

We’ve also planned a trip to Scotland for the next few weeks – Hopefully we’ll see, but not get eaten by The Loch Ness Monster! In a few weeks we’ve got some of the family coming over to stay as well – so I’m hoping we can find a way to have them all come and stay near us – the house probably isn’t big enough, so perhaps we’ll have to look for a hotel or somewhere to rent out for everyone.
